Queen's Grease Pole Liberation (2023)

The Queen's Grease Pole was liberated for the third time in the summer of 2023, after allegedly being spotted on Google Maps. Some Queen's students have claimed that the pole was taken as the Queen's EngSoc was marching in Toronto's Pride Parade alongside the Blue & Gold Committee; however, in truth the liberation had happened over a week prior.

It was returned to Queen's after the ransom was fulfilled by a pair of master's students. The ransom included an invite to a DUSTED alongside Queens' EngSoc (this event never occurred) and a series of jacket bars with the words "Lubricated Steven".
