The Vice-President Communications serves as one of the executive members of the [[Engineering Society]].  The Vice-President Communications is a key player in marketing and strategic communications, and manages both an internal and external portfolio.
The Vice-President Communications serves as one of the executive members of the [[Engineering Society]].  The Vice-President Communications is responsible for the maintenance of all Bylaws, Policies and Special Resolutions of the Society.


Internally, the Vice-President Communication plays the role of the chief administrative officer with the responsibility of overseeing the maintenance and development of corporate documents, the IT infrastructure and of both current and existing web applications.
The external portfolio is a combination of a service - by providing students with information through publications and communication channels - and the creation of an image through strategic marketing and branding campaigns. Though very challenging, the Vice-President Communications will have the unique opportunity to shape how students perceive and relate to our organization through the development of the appropriate teams and tools.
The VP Communications portfolio consists of the following commissions:
*Marketing and Strategic Communications Commission
*Maintenance and Operations Commission
*Publications
