Iron Pin
Description
The Iron Pin directorship organizes the annual Iron Pin Ceremony, which takes place in January each year. The tradition began at Skule during the 2T5-2T6 school year, expanding on an existing tradition at a handful of Canadian universities. The directorship is a small organizing committee, with a graphics director, marketing director, outreach director, finance director, and logistics directors.
While the Iron Ring Ceremony is a tradition-ridden event focusing on the responsibilities of engineers to society as they enter the workforce, the Iron Pin Ceremony centres on an engineering student's ethical responsibility while still in school.
