The ECE Club Executive Team is made up of dedicated and enthusiastic students from the Electrical and Computer Engineering undergraduate programs. Our goal is to provide all students in the Electrical and Computer Engineering disciplines with the best experience that U of T life has to offer. We are representatives of the student body to the Faculty and Student Council, making sure that students' needs and opinions are not neglected.
The ECE Club strives to help students achieve industry relations. In the past Motorola and Microsoft have sponsored us, providing information and materials such as software and books for our students.
During the year, the ECE club has fun activities to counteract even the most severe cases of study sickness. We hold Smokers and Movie Nights throughout the year, and we maintain the ECE Common Rooms where you can go anytime to relax, watch TV, play fooseball, or play arcade games. Our classic fall Dinner Dance is the perfect opportunity to show your dancing and socialising skills, and the infamous annual Chariot Race is the time when all ECEs gather to defend our department's honour in armour and tractor grease. Last, but not least, the senior years' field trips to cities like New York City and Montréal will never let you forget what partying with your friends is all about!
