The overall goal of this student group at U of T is to increase awareness about water environment issues, encourage professional development, increase communication with the workforce, and to advertise science and technology. Events are usually held once a month. Some examples of the events held are:&lt;br /&gt;

Invite water professionals from the industry and research centers to talk about water/wastewater hot topics&lt;br /&gt;
Invite water consulting companies human resources to talk about applying to jobs, resumes and cover letters, &lt;br /&gt;
