			Madeline first served as the [[Purple Dye\|Dye Subcommittee]] Chair in 2020 alongside Gehna Karani. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Subcommittee shipped small pots of dye to frosh and ran a livestream explaining the tradition from Dye Alley. They also created a report to investigate purple dye options beyond Gentian Violet, which had just been banned by the Government of Canada.

			In 2024, she reprised her role alongside Arshia Singh. Together they ran the full-body dunk tank for the first time since 2018 after receiving approval for a mix of Brilliant Blue 1, Red 28, chlorine, and water. This marked the first time chlorine had been used in the dunk tank, and resulted in the cheapest event since the pandemic. After the school year had concluded, she was invited to partake in a conference alongside the EHS team to discuss the collaboration between the Dye Subcommittee and the administration; however, funding could not be allocated due to rising tensions for Canadians along the US border.
