We have a lot of big plans for the upcoming year! Starting with a renovation of the common room to make it a more useable space, which will include new furniture and a vending machine. We will be hosting MIE’s first ever Professional Development Series where participants will have the opportunity to be exposed to the basics of different software that will be beneficial in the future. Also, we are looking to expand the sports teams within our Mech Sports League. And as usual we will continue to run our annual MIE Dinner Dance, ski trip and class socials.

The Mechanical Engineering Club (Mech Club) represents the entire Mechanical Engineering student body at the University of Toronto. The peer-elected student executive members are the main points of contact between the students and wider faculty, bringing concerns and issues to attention. Also, we are looking to expand the sports teams within our Mech Sports League. And as usual we will continue to run our annual MIE Dinner Dance and class socials.

The Mech Club can be found in MB225C and there will always be someone in the office between 1-2pm, or feel free to drop by if you ever see the light on! For up-to-date information and upcoming events, please visit our website at mech.skule.ca or check out our Facebook page.
